We specialize in providing mechanical cleaning solution to clean pipeline using a series of pigs. This process involves running various types of pigs through the pipeline and monitoring the debris that comes out. Foam pigs, brush pigs, cup pigs, Bi-Di pigs with brushes, and other aggressive cleaning pigs are all commonly used in this process. Coupling two pigs together can also provide better and more effective cleaning, which is referred to as coupled pigs. This method reduces the number of pig runs required and provides superior results.
The cleaning process should begin with foam pigs, which come in low, medium, and high density options, and establish the ability to use pigs in the pipeline. Depending on the condition of the foam pigs, subsequent pigs such as brush pigs, batch pigs, and disc pigs can be launched to dislodge debris. This process can be repeated multiple times with each run evaluated by measuring the amount of debris removed. Record the amount of debris removed after each run to monitor the reduction in debris and plot its pattern.
The mechanical cleaning process is an effective way to maintain the integrity of pipelines. Using a variety of pigs and monitoring debris during the cleaning process can help ensure that the pipeline remains clear and efficient for a longer period.
