Pig Tracking

Graffin Pig tracking systems are designed as accurate Pig tracking & location for onshore and offshore subsea pipelines, operating in liquid or gas lines. The system provides an effective solution for tracking the movement of pigs in real-time, and locating them if they get stuck or lost. The device equipped with a receiver that intercepts the signal emitted by a transmitter installed on the cleaning pig.

Pig tracking systems are available in two forms: electronic and acoustic. The acoustic pig tracking system is used for moving pigs and uses sound amplification to track the passage of the pig. In other hand, the electronic pig tracking system involves using a pig transmitter, which is a low-frequency magnetic type device that can be installed on the pigs. This system also includes a receiver system with an antenna and recorder that is used above the ground to detect the location of the pigs.

We provide pig tracking services using both electronic and acoustic systems, suitable for cleaning pigs, gauge pigs, magnetic pigs, and any other type of pig required for your pipeline operations. Our team of trained professionals can deploy pig tracking services during any pigging activity, and also assist in locating and retrieving stuck or lost pigs from the pipeline.

Non-Intrusive Pig Signaler

The GT-MAGNA -10 provides quick and easy pig detection of any pig moving between 0.01 and 20 meters/sec. It is Non-intrusive means less maintenance, non-corrosive, and no possibility of pipeline leak.

The GT-MAGNA-10 has noise canceling antennas specifically for pig detection. This system help the devise to reject nearby magnetic noise and halt false triggering. A small safe, permanent magnet is installed on a pig is all it takes to put the GT-MAGNA-10 to work.

The GT-MAGNA-10 has a reliable performance record of working in harsh environment. Many of our customers, large oil and gas producers, who rely upon this product family to set valves, control pump stations, and communicate with SCADA systems.

Remote signaling of the passage is easy with the built-in flashing LCD display and potential free relay contacts, which are normally open or close contacts and may use in conjunction with the existing SCADA system to integrate GT-MAGNA-10 into a pipeline control and signaling network. An optional array of 8 LED’s can be seen over distance as great as 100 meters.

The GT-MAGNA-10 is line with 24V DC or battery powered for greatest flexibility. A standard D-Cell alkaline battery provides a full year of service or 24VDC power may use for indefinite operation. Changing batteries is very simple. Just open the face of the unit, remove the old batteries with new one.

Conduit connections are standard M20 X 1.5P

It Can easily bands to pipelines from 6” to 60” diameter.
